Krastova gora is a place in the central part of the Rhodope Mountains in Bulgaria. Near is the Krastov Vrah (1545 m), from which it takes its name.
It is also known as the Rhodope Holy Forest because of the monastery complex Holy Trinity located there.
Also the area is famous for the Christian sanctuary on Mount Krasta.
Which is a Christian pilgrimage center of international fame.
The legend tells that a large monastery rose on this peak, in which a part of the Lord’s Cross was kept.

∗ 09:00: From Plovdiv – Our team will be waiting to greet you at the parking in front of the hotel Princess (Trimoncium Hotel Plovdiv), http://!!!Green Valleys meeting point Plovdiv. google/maps!!!, or you can arrange your pick up point in advance with member of our booking team.
∗ The journey takes about three and the half hours to the picturesque Krastova gora in the Rhodope Mountains.

∗ Visit to the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin.
∗ Visit to the complex of “12 apostles” of 12 chapels, located on both sides of the staircase to the top of the Cross with the crucifix.

∗ An enjoyable afternoon in the regant of Belintash.
∗ Departure back to Sofia and Plovdiv.
∗ 19:30: Expected time of arrival in Plovdiv at the parking in front of hotel Princess (Trimoncium Hotel).
∗ 19:30: Expected time of arrival in Sofia at the parking lot behind Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.
PERSONAL EQUIPMENT:
∗ Please wear comfortable hiking boots, warm clothes, dry food, water, raincoate.
∗ Windproof and waterproof jacket.
∗ Extra garment (fleece).
∗ Water bottle at least 1 liter.
∗ Hat/towel, sunscreen and sunglasses, raincoat.
∗ Insole (optional).
∗ In bad weather conditions the program can be shortened or replaced.
