We will take on the wanderful winter trip to the Skakavitsa Waterfall. It is one of the jewels of Rila Mountain.

∗ Our team will be waiting to greet you at the parking behind Alexander Nevski Cathedral, http://!!!Green Valleys meeting point SOFIA google/maps!!!, or at your preferable location if requested in advance at the time of booking.
∗ The journey takes about two hours to the starting point for treks in the area of Zeleni Preslap, town of Sapareva Banya. From there we will take hiking trek to the next stop. The trek takes about 01:30 hours.
∗ After a break at the Skakavitsa hut we will continue hiking to the Skakavitsa waterfall. The trek takes about 01:00 hour.
∗ A pleasant picnic amidst the captivating tranquility in the area.
∗ Break at the Skakavitsa waterfall and trek back to the Zeleni Preslap, town of Sapareva Banya. The trek takes approx 02:30 hours.
∗ Get back to the bus.
∗ Departure back to Sofia.
ATTENTION:
∗ Mandatory requirement for tourists – Before the start of each mountain hike, clients receive instruction from a licensed mountain guide and undertake to comply with the instructions given to them.
∗ Changes in the program are possible, based on objective factors, mostly of meteorological nature.
PERSONAL EQUIPMENT:
∗ Please wear comfortable hiking three-season shoes, warm clothes, dry food, water, raincoate.
∗ Stocks (with wide circles).
∗ Gloves - a pair of thin and a pair of winter (warm and waterproof), plus spare.
∗ Warm hat.
∗ Flashlight
∗ Personal first aid kit.
∗ Windproof and waterproof jacket.
∗ Extra garment (fleece).
∗ Water bottle at least 1 liter.
∗ Hat/towel, sunscreen and sunglasses, raincoat.
∗ Insole (optional).
∗ In bad weather conditions the program can be shortened or replaced.
RECOMMENDED INFORMATION:
∗ Food for lunch, picnic type. It is recommended to consider in advance that your food is as energetic and healthy as possible.
∗ Travelers should have a moderate to good level of physical fitness.
In case of medical issues or allergies you should always consult your tour representative if you are not sure of what ingredients a dish contains.
