∗ Today after breakfast we will continue our adventure in the region.
∗ 09:00: We leave the hotel and head to Lake Bled.
The bus transfer takes about 1 hour.
∗ Visit to the alpine resort of Bled, famous for its crystal clear lake with emerald waters. The lake was formed 14,000 years ago. when a glacier falls from the Alpine peaks into the valley. A walk along the promenade of the town. Opportunity to try the famous local sweet “kremnih rezina”.
∗ Departure for the natural phenomenon “Permanent Pit” cave and Predyama Castle.
∗ Visit to the Postojna Cave: the most famous cave in the world. It is the most important tourist attraction of Slovenia and one of the largest karst monuments in the world. It is the only place in the world where the underground landscape can be seen through an electric train tour.
∗ Visit to the Predyama Castle.
∗ Departure to the Hotel in the direction of Plitvice Lakes.
∗ Dinner and rest in a traditional atmosphere while enjoying delicious food, free time.
Day 3
∗ Today after breakfast we will enjoy the natural phenomenon of the Plitvice Lakes.
∗ Transfer to departure point.
∗ Full circle of Plitvice Lakes – the turquoise eyes of Croatia: The park occupies the territory of approximately 30,000 ha, of which 217 ha fall on the lakes. They are 16 in number, connected by 56 waterfalls. They are conditionally divided into Upper Lakes and Lower Lakes. The highest above sea level is “Proshan Lake” (639 meters), and the lowest is “Novakovitsa Brod” (503 meters). The upper lakes are located in the Dolomite valley and are surrounded by dense forest. The lower lakes are surrounded only by bushes and lie on limestone rocks. They are smaller and shallower. The lakes draw water mainly from the rivers “Biela” and “Crna rieka”, which come together in one arm south of “Proshan Lake”.
