We created this tour, inspired by the energy of the valley of roses, the wine and the myths of the Thracian kings. This multi-tour will take you on a journey into the heart of the Bulgarian rose valley and the valley of the Thracian kings.
You will visit the Damascene complex and its unique gardens with 150 different species of roses, as well as an ancient tomb of Thracian Kings which is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.

∗ 09:30: Tour starts from the parking in front of Hotel Ramada (Trimoncium Hotel Plovdiv) you will be picked up from the place, if arranged with member of our booking team in advance. The trip to the town of Kazanlak lasts about two hours through beautiful countryside.
∗ 10:30 – 11:30: Visit to the Kazanlashka Tomb, One of the most impressive monuments of the Thracian civilization in the Valley of the Thracian Kings. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage list.
∗ 12:00 – 12:30: Discover the tomb of Seuthes III. Seuthes III was the King of the Odrysian Kingdom of Thrace from 331BC to 300BC and founder of the nearby Thracian city of Seuthopolis.
∗ 13:00 – 14:00: Lunch and relax in a traditional restaurant while enjoying deliciously prepared food, fine wine and lovely atmosphere.

In Royal Tomb of Kazanlak, The tomb is part of a large royal Thracian necropolis in the Valley of the Thracian Rulers near their ancient capital of Seuthopolis in a region where more than a thousand tombs of kings and members of the Thracian aristocracy can be found.
The paintings are Bulgaria’s best-preserved artistic masterpieces from the Hellenistic period (History between Alexander the Great 323 BC and emergence of the Roman Empire).
