Bogdan is the highest peak in Sredna Gora (1604 m), Bulgaria.
Pressed by forests, but to the south and north there are beautiful views of the peaks Barricades and Wolf. At the southern foot of the peak, among the beech forest, huge rocks, covered with moss and geranium, darken, which are called Detelinova Cave. The rivers Pyasachnik, Kriva Reka and Luda Yana originate from Bogdan Peak.
Bogdan Peak is part of the Bogdan Reserve (declared in 1972) and preserves a centuries-old beech forest. In it is the historical landmark “Detelinova Gramada”.
Strelcha
It is a town in central Bulgaria. It is located in Pazardzhik district and is close to the town of Panagyurishte and the town of Koprivshtitsa.
The town of Strelcha is located in a mountainous area. It lies in Sashtinska Sredna Gora. To the north of it is Bunaya peak (1572 m). The river Strelchanska Luda Yana flows through Strelcha.
The greatest wealth of Strelcha, the mineral water, is hot (up to 38 – 40° C), slightly mineralized and with low hardness.

Different epochs have left their mark on the appearance of Strelcha during its centuries-old history. On the territory of the municipality there are preserved traces of the presence of prehistoric people, Thracians, Slavs, Byzantines, Romans and Bulgarians.
The first preserved traces are from the footsteps of the Thracians. The demons came and settled permanently in the region at the end of the Old Age. They are invariably present in the Greek chronicles as brave and freedom-loving warriors worshiping Dionysus. For several centuries, in which they ruled over the lands near Strelcha, they left behind over 300 mounds in honor of their noble dead.
