Throughout the centuries Rila Monastery has always been the spiritual, educational and cultural centre of Bulgaria. The monastery is a part of UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.

Tour in town of Melnik – Architectural and Ethnographic Town of Melnik

The locals (Thracian) the legends say: that Melnik were the Thracian city, and more particularly the Thracian tribe Maedi, of which the legendary rebel Spartacus originated. Also famous in entire Europe for its finest wine, since  with which it is famous even nowadays.

Visit Rupite – the memorial temple “St. Petka of Bulgaria”. The Bulgarian mystic Baba Vanga lived and was buried here.
Discover the antique town of Heraclea Sintica. There are ruins of  representative buildings of the ancient city were built with great grace, the city layout was constructed in accordance with the principles of the Hippodamian Plan. A part of the city basilica was also preserved, where various litigation were resolved. Coins and two votive tablets of Heracles and Artemis were discovered. Heraclea Sintica was an ancient Greek polis built by Philip II of Macedon.

In ancient times Thracians inhabited the Three Hills and built a fortified settlement, which was the largest city in Thrace. During the 4th century BC Plovdiv was conquered by Phillip of Macedonia.

Sofia City is the capital and largest city of Bulgaria. The city is at the foot of Vitosha mountain in the western part of the country. Being in the center of the Balkans. In fact the city is midway between the Black Sea and the Adriatic Sea, and closest to the Aegean Sea.
Sofia is the 13th largest city in the European Union. The city is surrounded by mountains, such as Mount Vitosha by the southern side, Lyulin by the western side, and the Balkan Mountains by the north, which makes it the second highest European capital after Madrid. Town of Thessaloniki, Journey through Centuries – Thessaloniki is a Greek port city on the Thermaic Gulf of the Aegean Sea. Evidence of Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman history remains, especially around Ano Poli, the upper town. The ruins of Roman Emperor Galerius’ 4th-century palace include the Rotunda that has been both a church and a mosque.

Thassos island – Thasos or Thassos (Greek: Θάσος, Thásos) is a Greek island in the North Aegean Sea. It is the northernmost major Greek island, and 12th largest by area. The most important economic activity on the island is tourism. The main agricultural products are honey, almonds, walnuts, olives (such as the local Throumba variety which has a protected designation of origin), olive oil, and wine. The inhabitants also engage in fishing, and in the herding of sheep and goats.
