Bacho Kiro Cave
As a matter of fact the site has yielded the oldest human remains ever to be found in Europe.
They currently represent the oldest known ornaments in Europe. With an approximate age of 80,000 years, human fossils consist of a pair of fragmented mandibles including at least one molar teeth.
Morphological analysis of a tooth and mitochondrial DNA of bone fragments. Established that remains were those of Homo sapiens and Neanderthals.
Dryanovo Monastery
In fact is a functioning Bulgarian Orthodox monastery situated in the Andaka River Valley, in Bulgarka Nature Park in the central part of Bulgaria. It was founded during the Second Bulgarian Empire 12th century, and is dedicated to Archangel Michael.
