The tour could be tailor made or Privately design. This hiking tour will take you on a journey to the most magical mountain in Bulgaria.
Rhodopes mountains have rich cultural heritage. Including ancient thracian sites, medieval castles, churches, monasteries. As well picturesque villages with traditional Bulgarian architecture from the 18th and 19th centuries. In fact the mountain range gives its name to the terrestrial ecoregion Rodope montane.
Also the Orpheus Peak is (2188 m – 7178 ft) above sea level, it is the second highest in the Rhodopes. As a mater of fact the summit Orpheus is very panoramic and can be reached relatively quickly and easily from The village of Gela.

Day 1

∗ From Plovdiv – Our team will be waiting to greet you at the parking in front of the Hotel Ramada (Trimoncium Hotel Plovdiv), http://!!!Green Valleys meeting point Plovdiv. google/maps!!!, or you can arrange your pick up point in advance with member of our booking team.
∗ Check in, at the hotel, after the hiking tour, could enjoy the pool with thermal mineral water.
∗ The first trek of the eco-trail starts from the Struilitsa area, famous for its therapeutic pools with hot mineral water.
∗ First trek will leads us to the beautiful waterfall Samodivsko Praskalo. It is extremely beautiful.
∗ Next stop of the trek is the area of Lakata, in which a medieval settlement existed.
∗ A pleasant picnic amidst the captivating tranquility in the area.
∗ Get to the last point of the trail, Kaleto fortress. The remains of the famous Rhodope fortress, existed in the period VI-XIII centuries.
∗ After short break we get back the the town of Devin, head to the Hotel.
∗ Dinner in the Hotel, relax at the charming atmosphere and get ready for the next day.
Day 2
∗ Today after breakfast we will continue our adventure in the area, depart towards village of Gela.
∗ The journey takes about 45 minutes to the starting point for treks in the village of Gela. From there we will take Hiking trek to the next stop. The trek takes about 1 hour.
∗ Gradishteto Fortress from where a panoramic view of Rhodopes mountains is revealed.
∗ A pleasant picnic amidst the captivating tranquility in the area of the mountain.
∗ Next Treck will takes about 1 and a half hours to the Orpheus Peak at (2188 m – 7178 ft) above sea level.
∗ After a break on the peak we will get back to the trek to the village of Gela. The trek takes approx three hours.
∗ Depart and head back to the town of Plovdiv and Sofia.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time for boarding.

As a mater of fact the area is especially remarkable for its karst areas with its deep river gorges, large caves and specific sculpted forms.
Food:
Our guests can choose from different diets, including vegetarian, Jain or non-vegetarian (Halal will not always be available) meals. Passengers should advise the tour representative of their preferred diet on day one. The meals are pre-set buffet, and a choice of menu is not available.
Dinners are usually provided within the hotel or restaurant. You should always consult member of our staff if you have any alergy to the ingredients of the dishs or you not sure of what ingredients a dish contains.
