Camp “AMIGOS DE LA MONTAÑA” is located in a National Park Rila, in the village of Govedarcsi, 60 km from the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia.
The camp offers an abundance of engaging school holiday activities to keep kids entertained. From learning the Spanish language, sports, outdoor explorations, arts and crafts to team games. Also our wide range of holiday activities are aimed towards children aged 6-16.
These sport and skills-based camp runs across multiple days (1-5 days). Exploring techniques and ideas that enable children to grasp content quickly and understand it in a useful context.
Multi-Activity camps are a great way for all kids.
To try new activities and gain skills during the Summer Holidays or Half Term break.
In fact camps make a great flexible childcare option. Bookable as individual days or a week at a time and with extended hour options to help working parents with early drop-offs and late pick-ups.
The wide range of activities we offer presents many benefits for children.
Sports enhance Coordination, Balance, Team Work and Endurance: arts-crafts improve Fine Motor Control and Creativity. While informative workshops such as ZooLab offer new knowledge and interactive learning.
As a matter of fact our staff are operating in line with educational standards, recruited based on three criteria – experience, qualifications and attitude.
We ensure that our staff provide excellent care. In fact many members of our staff are already teachers at our venues, so they bring with them familiarity and a wealth of knowledge.

Rila National Park is the largest national park in Bulgaria. The Park contains rare and endangered wildlife species and communities, self-regulating ecosystems of biological diversity, as well as historic sites of global cultural and scientific significance. Some of the largest rivers in the Balkan Peninsula originate here.
There are 120 glacial lakes, including the prominent Seven Rila Lakes. The name Rila is derived from the Thracian word roula, meaning lots of water.

What will I learn?
You’ll begin by learning the essentials – how to prepare the kitchen and your workspace as well as how to use a range of cooking equipment. You’ll also be given your own set of equipment to work with during your time with us. With our chef’s help and guidance, you’ll go on to prepare and cook a your own tasty meals, including, mains and desserts.
What will I be cooking?
Your Cook’s Cam holiday will cover a different theme everyday so that you experience cooking a variety of dishes from different cultures mixed in with a few favourites! The daily themes include Spanish.
At “AMIGOS DE LA MONTAÑA”Camp, we believe that our Multi-Activity camp and Specialist Courses are more than just kids holiday clubs aimed to tackle school holiday boredom; they complement term-time education by acting as a medium for child-led learning.
Food:
In case of medical issues or allergies you should always consult your tour representative if you are not sure of what ingredients a dish contains.
Time to eat– a different menu each day (and did we mention, often evening meals come with a hot pudding too – or you can stick with fruit if you prefer).
