Easter at Cross Forest, Karadjov stone and Belintash

Day 1

∗ 06:30: From Sofia – Our team will be waiting to greet you at the parking behind Alexander Nevski Cathedral, http://!!!Green Valleys meeting point SOFIA google/maps!!!, or at your preferable location if requested in advance at the time of booking.
∗ 09:00: From Plovdiv – Our team will be waiting to greet you at the parking in front of the hotel Princess (Trimoncium Hotel Plovdiv), http://!!!Green Valleys meeting point Plovdiv. google/maps!!!, or you can arrange your pick up point in advance with member of our booking team.
∗ The journey takes about three and the half hours to the picturesque village of Vrata.
∗ Hiking  to Belintash.
∗ A pleasant picnic amidst the captivating tranquility in the area.
∗ An enjoyable afternoon in the regiont of Belintash.
∗ Check-in at the hotel, free time.
∗ Easter dinner at the hotel restaurant, relax in a traditional atmosphere while enjoying deliciously prepared food, free time.
∗ 23:30: Visit to the Cross Forest.
∗ Return to the hotel.

DAY 2

∗ Today after breakfast we will continue our adventure in the region.
∗ Enjoyable day in the area of Krastova gora.
∗ Visit to the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin.
∗ Visit to the complex of “12 apostles” of 12 chapels, located on both sides of the staircase to the top of the Cross with the crucifix.

− “St. the Apostle Peter”.
− “St. the apostle Paul”.
− “St. Apostle Thomas”.
− “St. Apostle Andrew “.
− “St. Apostle Philip”.
− “St. Apostle Simon the Canaanite”.

− “St. Apostle Mark the Evangelist”.
− “St. the apostle Luke”.
− “St. the apostle Matthew”.
∗ Visit to the 3 chapels, northwest after the top with the cross: “St. John of Rila ”,“ St. Three Saints ”and“ St. Visarion, Bishop of Smolyan.
∗ A pleasant picnic amidst the captivating tranquility in the area.
∗ Hiking for about two hours to pleasant forest path to the Karadjov stone. Karadjov stone is a Thracian sanctuary was associated with the world of the dead.
∗ From the Karadjov stone we taking the last trek to the the Thracian cult site Belintash. Trek takes approximatly two hours.
∗ After short break we geting to the bus.
∗ Departure to our hotel.
∗ Dinner at the hotel restaurant, relax in a traditional atmosphere while enjoying deliciously prepared food, free time.

DAY 3

∗ Today after breakfast Check out from the hotel.
∗ Visit to the cave Dobrostanski biser.
∗ A pleasant picnic amidst the captivating tranquility in the area.
∗ Visit to the Bachkovo monastery.
∗ Departure back to Sofia and Plovdiv.
∗ 17:00: Expected time of arrival in Plovdiv at the parking in front of hotel Princess (Trimoncium Hotel).
∗ 19:00: Expected time of arrival in Sofia at the parking lot behind Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.

PERSONAL EQUIPMENT:
∗ Please wear comfortable hiking boots, warm clothes, dry food, water, raincoate.
∗ Windproof and waterproof jacket.
∗ Extra garment (fleece).
∗ Water bottle at least 1 liter.
∗ Hat/towel, sunscreen and sunglasses, raincoat.
∗ Insole (optional).
∗ In bad weather conditions the program can be shortened or replaced.

∗ Food for lunch, picnic type. It is recommended to consider in advance that your food is as energetic and healthy as possible.
